Pre KG (LKG)
First steps into CBSE Foundational Stage — structuring communication, play, and discovery.
Overview
Pre KG (LKG)
Pre KG at Gita School marks the formal start of the CBSE Foundational Stage curriculum framework, tailored for children aged 3.5 to 4.5 years. The program bridges exploratory learning and structured inquiry, focusing heavily on communication, language, and initial mathematical thinking.
The curriculum focuses on core learning areas, particularly personal, social, and emotional development. Through active speaking, listening, and structured story circles, children begin building vocabulary and confidence. We introduce mathematical concepts through fun hands-on counters, pattern blocks, and rhythmic counting songs.
Physical coordination and fine motor skills are reinforced through threading, writing prep exercises, and outdoor physical play. This comprehensive development ensures they are prepared for the next stage of our Foundational Stage.
“In Pre KG, we turn natural curiosity into systematic questioning, building speaking confidence from day one.”
