Senior KG

Refining literacy, mathematics, and world understanding for Class I readiness.

Overview

Senior KG

Senior KG is the capstone Balvatika year of the CBSE Foundational Stage curriculum at Gita School, for children aged 5.5 to 6 years. This critical transition year synthesizes their early learning, preparing them academically, socially, and emotionally for primary school.

Literacy focuses on independent reading, structured spelling, and short creative writing. Numeracy expands to double-digit concepts, basic subtraction, measuring, and time vocabulary.

Creative thinking, scientific inquiry, and physical education are fully integrated, encouraging children to present their findings, build group projects, and practice leadership.

Ready for Class I. Senior KG bridges early play-based learning with structured academic inquiry.
