Etiquette and Manners

Academic brilliance means little without the grace to carry it well.

Overview

Etiquette and Manners

In a world that increasingly values technical skill and academic achievement, Gita School holds firm to a timeless truth: how a person conducts themselves in the world matters as much as what they know. Our Etiquette and Manners programme develops poise, respect, courtesy, and social grace as deliberate, taught skills — not left to chance.

Students learn the art of respectful greeting and introduction, table manners, conversational courtesy, body language, public speaking etiquette, and the simple, powerful habit of treating every person — regardless of their status — with genuine dignity and kindness.

These are not trivial social niceties. They are the behaviours that determine whether a person is welcomed in a room, trusted with responsibility, and respected by peers and elders alike. A Gita School student is recognisable not just by their academic ability — but by their character and conduct.

Manners are a sensitive awareness of the feelings of others. If you have that awareness, you have good manners — no matter which fork you use.
