Acting
Unlocking self-expression, communication, and emotional confidence.
Acting and drama at Gita School provide a vibrant playground for imagination, self-expression, and communication. We believe that theatrical training is not about creating child stars, but about nurturing confident individuals who can express themselves clearly and empathize with others.
“Acting is not about being someone else; it is about finding the empathy to understand others, and the confidence to express yourself.”
Through acting exercises, roleplay, improvisation, and script readings, students explore different characters, scenarios, and emotions. They learn to modulate their voice, improve their body language, and articulate their thoughts with clarity and confidence.
Drama encourages children to step into others' shoes, which builds deep empathy and emotional intelligence. Collaborative play production teaches them the value of teamwork, creative problem-solving, and shared creative achievement.
