Value Education & Life Skills

Preparing children to understand, engage with, and shape the society they inherit.

Overview

Value Education & Life Skills

Value Education and Life Skills is a dedicated cross-curricular programme at Gita School that develops students' understanding of the world around them. Covering themes such as sustainability, cultural diversity, digital citizenship, civic responsibility, and global awareness, this programme builds the knowledge, skills, and values that prepare students to be responsible, informed, and compassionate citizens.

Instead of memorising facts about static topics, students work on real-world society challenges — such as environmental conservation, community health, media literacy, and emotional intelligence. They learn to investigate these issues locally and nationally, gather source evidence, and present their findings.

This subject builds young minds that are open-minded, analytical, and socially aware — ensuring they are ready to become empathetic leaders and proactive citizens.

We do not just teach children about society; we teach them how to think critically about it and contribute to its future.
