Inquiry-Based Learning
Learning driven by curiosity — where questions lead to deep understanding.
Overview
Inquiry-Based Learning
Inquiry-Based Learning is a cornerstone of the CBSE framework under NEP 2020 at Gita School. Rather than presenting students with established facts to memorise, we guide them to investigate, ask deep questions, and discover principles on their own. This active process of discovery ensures that learning is meaningful and highly retentive.
Our teachers act as facilitators, guiding students through structured research, experimental setups, and collaborative discussions. By encouraging intellectual curiosity, we foster critical cognitive development and teach students how to think rather than what to think.
Through inquiry, children learn to evaluate evidence, connect disparate concepts, and build a systematic approach to investigating the unknown. This prepares them to face real-world challenges with confidence and capability.
“Curiosity is the engine of achievement. Inquiry-based learning turns that engine on for every student.”
