Free Co-curricular Activities

A child's education extends far beyond the classroom — and at Gita, it costs nothing extra.

Overview

Free Co-curricular Activities

Gita School offers a rich range of co-curricular activities that are fully included in the school programme at no additional cost. We firmly believe that the arts, physical discipline, cultural heritage, and creative expression are not optional extras — they are essential dimensions of a complete education.

Our free activities include Yoga for mindfulness and physical wellness, Karate for self-discipline and confidence, Music (both traditional and Western), Dance across classical and contemporary forms, Silambam (the ancient Tamil martial art), Sanskrit Slogam for cultural heritage, and spoken language programmes in Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. Skating is also offered as an optional activity.

These activities are woven into the school week — not squeezed in as afterthoughts. They develop the whole child: building physical confidence, artistic sensitivity, cultural pride, and social skills that academic study alone cannot provide.

Every child deserves to discover what they love — not just what they are good at on paper.
